29th Jazz Goes To Campus

Today I went to 29th Jazz Goes To Campus, annual jazz events held by Economic Faculty University of Indonesia. Actually it was my first visit to JGTC, though I had plans to visit this events every year since I moved back to Jakarta in 2002.
We arrived there around 4 PM, and surely we had missed Tompi performance :(.
However, Buzzattack -first performance we saw- was quiet attractive and really not dissapointing.
Second performance was Park Drive, with its lead vocal who has a magnificent voice..quiet surprising since her live voice sounded so different compare to its recording version. All songs sang was taken from its first album.

Third and last performance we saw was Bertha, who need not dressed sophisticated to be sophisticated (look at her Mickey Sarong!). She opened the performance with a very beautiful "Black Coffee". Then she invited her little friends to sing along, "Over The Rainbow" and "In My Life - The Beatles". Not to forget, her very entertaining friends, Mbah Surip, who contribute 3 funny short song titled: "Mak Erot", "Kepolisian" and "Uka-uka".
